STANDARDS for Project & Facility Management is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise networking, firewalls, and Microsoft Active Directory environments, focused on delivering secure, reliable, and high-performance network operations.
🔹 Job Summary
The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure, Fortinet firewalls, and Microsoft AD environments, while leading advanced troubleshooting and supporting continuous infrastructure improvement.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✔ Administer and optimize Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (security policies, VPNs, IPS/UTM)
✔ Design, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 / Layer 3 networks, including VLANs, routing, and switch redundancy
✔ Administer Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and user/computer management
✔ Lead advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure incidents
✔ Execute network and firewall upgrades, hardware refreshes, and new site deployments
✔ Maintain accurate network documentation and contribute to infrastructure standards
✔ Mentor junior engineers and support team knowledge sharing
🔹 Requirements
✔ 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT / networking environments
✔ Strong expertise in Fortinet firewalls and Microsoft Active Directory
✔ Solid knowledge of switching, routing, TCP/IP, VLANs, and network monitoring tools
✔ Proven ability to handle complex incidents and clearly present technical findings
🔹 Preferred Qualifications
CCNA / CCNP
Fortinet NSE4+
MCSE / Azure Networking
Linux administration experience
Scripting & automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Ansible)
